The Ohio County Circuit Clerk's Office is a passport agency. We process passports on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

What is Needed:

    --Completed application

    --One (1) passport photo (we do NOT take photos)

    --Original birth certificate with raised seal (this will be returned to you from the Department of State)

    --Driver's License (we will make a copy)

    --If not West Virginia resident, you will need an additional form of identification; i.e., social security card, school ID, or insurance card (must have your name on it)

-- One check for your passport.

-- The processing fee can be paid by cash, check or debit/credit card.

Passport Book:

ADULTS (Age 16 and older): Cost is $130.00 for adult passport with the check made payable to: U.S. Department of State. Service fee is $35.00 with the check made payable to: Ohio County Circuit Clerk.

CHILDREN (Under age 16): Cost is $100.00 for child passport book with the check made payable to: U.S. Department of State. Service fee is the same as for adults.

Passport Cards:

ADULTS (Age 16 and older): Cost is $30.00 for adult card with check made payable to: U.S. Department of State. Service fee is $35.00 with the check made payable to: Ohio County Circuit Clerk

CHILDREN (Under age 16): Cost is $ 15.00 for children with check made payable to: U.S. Department of State. Service fee is the same as for adults.

RENEWAL OF UNEXPIRED PASSPORT: We have the application, but application is to be completed and sent in by individual requesting. Application can also be obtained on line at: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html
